Last year, CityVille players were given a chance to expand their cities across the river via the introduction of a bridge. Now, that bridge feature comes back to the forefront of the game via three upgrades that you can now complete for your bridge. These upgrades are rolling out slowly, but when they arrive in your game, you'll need to collect various building materials to actually complete them. Zynga says that you'll be able to increase your town's population via these upgrades, so let's take a look at what's required for all three.
Level 2:
Activated by clicking on your Bridge after this update has rolled out to you.
6 Expansion Joints
6 Orange Paint
6 Cranes
6 Metal Floor Beams
6 Bridge Towers
You can ask your friends to send you these items via a combination of general news posts and individual requests, or you can purchase them all for City Cash (96 City Cash, to be exact). Reaching each upgrade level (including this one) will change the appearance of the bridge (it will start to look more complex).
Level 3:
10 Oxygen Tank
10 Bridge Barriers
10 Suspension Cables
10 Pylons
10 Bridge Deck Formworks

There will likely be goals associated with updating the bridge as well, and we'll make sure to bring you complete coverage of them, if and when they are released. As for right now, we're all in a waiting game, as we wait for these bridge upgrades to rollout to all users in full.
